The Gulfstream GIV-SP in detail
The Gulfstream IV-SP (Special Performance) arrived in the early 1990s and became one of the most popular heavy jets ever built. Its large oval windows and stand-up cabin set the look Gulfstream still uses.
Around 12 to 14 seats in two or three zones, usually a forward club, a conference or dining area and a rear divan that converts into a bed, with a full galley.
Why charter it
- A true heavy jet with transatlantic range at an hourly price below newer Gulfstreams.
- The big Gulfstream windows and a well-proven, reliable airframe.
Worth knowing
- Airframes are from the 1990s: interiors and connectivity differ a lot between aircraft, so ask for photos and the Wi-Fi type.
Often compared with: Gulfstream G450, Bombardier Challenger 605, Dassault Falcon 2000LX, Embraer Legacy 650
