Flying private to a major event

Big events compress a lot of arrivals into a few days. Nearby airports fill their parking, bring in slot controls and run long waits for handling, so the aircraft that is easiest to book a month out can be impossible to place the week before. The earlier you fix your dates, the better the choice of aircraft and the lower the positioning cost.

For the busiest fixtures we plan the whole movement: the arrival slot, where the aircraft parks or repositions between the drop-off and pick-up, and onward transfers such as a helicopter into Monaco or a car to the circuit. Where an empty leg lines up with your route, it can cut the cost sharply, though it cannot be guaranteed for a fixed date.

Frequently asked questions

How far in advance should I book a jet for a major event?
For the biggest fixtures, such as the Monaco Grand Prix, the Super Bowl or Davos, aircraft and airport slots go early. Book several weeks out, and longer for peak dates. Ask us as soon as you have your plans and we will hold options.
Are these the confirmed 2027 dates?
Most are: where the organiser has published 2027 dates, such as the Grand Prix, Davos, Cannes, the Masters and Art Basel, we use them. A few events had not announced 2027 dates yet, so we show a typical window marked "to be confirmed". All dates move slightly year to year, so check before booking.
Are the nearest airports slot-restricted during events?
Often yes. Airports near a big event bring in slot controls and parking limits for the peak days, which is another reason to book early. We handle slots, parking and, where needed, a repositioning plan.
Can I find an empty leg to an event?
Sometimes. Empty legs appear at short notice and cannot be guaranteed for a fixed date, but around busy events there is more repositioning traffic. Set an empty leg alert for your route and we will e-mail matches.
